    Midwest Tube Mills follows a Quality Management System that is:

    • COMPREHENSIVE - this system begins as soon as the steel is delivered and continues through product being loaded on the truck for delivery.
    • RESULTS-ORIENTED - the goal is to deliver the best product possible with the highest level of adherence to industry standards and satisfaction among our customers.
    • EXACTING - our quality control program includes specific and demanding testing with built-in redundancies on critical items.

    Internal Testing
    To that end, we have invested in our own internal state-of-the-art testing lab. Benchmark testing is performed on products we produce and those of others sold within our respective markets:

    • Steel: hardness, gauge and tolerance
    • Strength: bending yield, tensile and elongation
    • Coatings: Thickness, adhesion, impact, weathering, color and gloss
    • Corrosion Resistance: salt fog chamber testing
